Introduction

In Corporate R&D at Rohde & Schwarz, you take qualified AI/ML demand and turn it into solutions that are used internally or integrated into our products. You work across a wide field — classical ML as well as LLMs and agentic systems — and stay close to current methods, with direct impact across a company of more than 15,000 employees.

Tasks

• You own qualified AI/ML demand from clarification through delivery and adoption
• You turn business and technical needs into product goals, requirements, priorities and roadmaps
• You work with Engineering on method, architecture and feasibility, from proof of concept to a maintainable solution ready for integration
• You align Corporate R&D, business functions and product teams, and handle dependencies, risks and trade-offs
• You factor security, compliance and responsible AI into product decisions

Qualifications

• Several years of expirence as Product Owner, Technical Product Manager, Technical Project Manager or in a similar role
• Solid understanding of modern AI/ML concepts and architectures, and a genuine interest in agentic methods
• Informed technical background, with the ability to sketch solution designs, understand how the parts interact, and judge what is feasible
• Teamwork, strong communication skills, solution orientation, analytical thinking and personal responsibility
• Very good German and English skills (written and spoken) round off your profile
