Introduction

You design the architecture for AI integration into our products and bring intelligent solutions from concept to global deployment.

Tasks

• You are responsible for the architecture for integrating AI into product software, taking scalability, security and operational requirements into account.
• You implement central integration layers, APIs and SDKs in Python.
• You optimize inference and middleware for cloud, edge and embedded target systems.
• You diagnose complex production issues and are responsible for monitoring, A/B testing and lifecycle management of productive AI features.
• You raise the standard in testing, CI/CD/GitOps and release practices, and review designs and code as a technical reference for junior engineers.
• You coordinate with AI, MLOps and engineering teams and translate product and project requirements into technical solutions.

Qualifications

• You bring several years of experience in developing and delivering productive software.
• You have solid Python skills as well as strong experience in system design, testing and performance tuning.
• You have hands-on experience with containerization, Kubernetes/OpenShift, CI/CD/GitOps as well as with hybrid-cloud or on-premise deployment strategies and the integration of ML or LLM models into product contexts, including in constrained environments such as edge or air-gapped systems.
• You bring solid operational practice for productive systems, including observability, security, monitoring, A/B testing and lifecycle management, as well as experience with architecture reviews and mentoring engineers.
• You are convincing through teamwork, strong communication skills, solution orientation, independence and pronounced problem-solving ability.
• Very good German skills and very good English skills (written and spoken) round off your profile.
