Tasks

  • Design and implement end-to-end test strategies that combine manual and automated testing to ensure the highest product quality.
  • Champion a Shift Left approach by partnering closely with development teams to embed quality early in the software development lifecycle. You help ensure requirements are clearly defined, well understood, and supported by effective unit testing.
  • Promote a Shift Right mindset by strengthening quality assurance and observability in production. You implement monitoring and feedback mechanisms that help continuously improve system reliability and the overall user experience.
  • Build, maintain, and continuously enhance automated test scripts to increase testing efficiency and improve regression coverage.
  • Perform manual testing where needed to validate functionality, usability, and overall quality, while documenting test results and clearly tracking identified issues.

Qualifications

  • You hold a degree in technical studies and bring several years of experience in quality assurance, ideally within software development or a similarly technical environment.
  • You are comfortable working in agile environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • You have hands-on experience with test automation tools and frameworks, as well as a strong understanding of how to create effective test plans and test cases.
  • You have a solid understanding of Shift Left and Shift Right principles and know how to apply them in modern software development.
  • You are analytical, detail-oriented, and passionate about quality, continuous improvement, and delivering a great user experience.
  • You have excellent English skills, both spoken and written. Fluency in German is a Bonus.
