Introduction

In the frame of our strongly growing business, assuring quality and delivery of sourced components is of great importance.  At the same time, volume and complexity of sourced components are continuously growing.
This role will introduce electronic, mechanic and electromechanic materials for Rohde & Schwarz, and will assure and develop quality of suppliers and materials in collaboration with our internal stakeholders.

This new resource will allow to:
    Improve quality of sourced components and suppliers
    Increase capacity for component introduction

Tasks

• Conduct qualification and introduction of material for electronic, mechanic and 
  electromechanic components in collaboration with stakeholders
• Assure material conformity to relevant internal or external requirements
• Define qualification measures and incoming material inspections
• Initiate and update material and supplier data
• Initiate, drive and solve quality notifications, reports and actions
• Drive root cause analysis and actions
• Consult development, engineering, projects and production
• Identify, drive or support improvements of materials or suppliers
• Conduct supplier audits

Qualifications

• Education and experience in the field of electronic or mechatronic production
• Bachelor Degree in Engineering or a similar technical field
• Experience in component quality or component introduction
• Auditor certification according to ISO 9001
• Travel availability up to 50%
• Experience in material and supplier qualification for (small) series production
• Intercultural experience
• Aviation, defense or automotive exposure, a plus
• SAP ERP experience, a plus
• Fluent English and Spanish language
