Introduction
RPG Radiometer Physics GmbH, based in Meckenheim, has many years of experience in the development and production of RF and waveguide components. Its core focus is the integration of these components into complex research and measurement instruments. RPG provides customized solutions ranging from meteorology to aerospace applications.
Tasks
- You provide both technical and disciplinary leadership to the interdisciplinary development team for RF technology, electronics, and mechanics.
- You are responsible for the entire hardware development of high-tech systems for space and remote sensing applications, from concept to series production readiness.
- You steer the technological design in the areas of circuit design, RF components, as well as electrical and mechanical engineering.
- You coordinate the interfaces between the individual development disciplines and ensure seamless system integration.
- You ensure compliance with quality, safety, environmental, and EMC standards, including the corresponding documentation.
- You take responsibility for the budget, monitor project timelines, and further develop the department strategically.

Qualifications
- You have successfully completed a degree in electrical engineering, communications engineering, RF engineering, aerospace engineering, or a comparable qualification.
- You bring proven and substantial leadership experience in motivating and managing development teams.
- You possess in-depth expertise in circuit design as well as a solid understanding of electrical and mechanical design processes.
- You have demonstrated expertise in RF engineering.
- Ideally, you also have experience in RF measurement technology, mmWave weather remote sensing, and the application of ECSS standards.
- You are familiar with relevant standards, compliance and certification requirements, as well as structured development, quality, and change management processes.
- You are characterized by a structured way of working, strong communication skills, and assertiveness.
- You have a strong command of both German and English, spoken and written.
