Tasks
- You support automation initiatives within the Security Operations Center, leveraging machine learning, large language models, and workflow automation
- You help develop prototypes for use cases such as alert enrichment, triage support, case summarization, and threat intelligence processing
- You analyze security workflows and identify opportunities to reduce manual activities
- You help implement, test, and document automation scripts, detection logic, and SOC tool integrations
- You support the design and implementation of AI-driven detection and response approaches
- You assist with stakeholder communication and actively contribute to project management

Qualifications
- You are an enrolled student in computer science, cybersecurity, data science, information systems or a related field
- You have strong interest in cybersecurity, SOC operations, automation and AI
- You bring programming skills, preferably in Python
- You have basic knowledge of Machine Learning, LLMs or AI-based automation
- You are familiar with SIEM, SOAR, EDR or security monitoring is a plus
- You bring an analytical, structured and independent working style
- You have good communication skills in English, German is a plus
