Introduction

Join our Software Development Division in Munich (Germany) at the earliest possible date.

Tasks

  • Software Development: Help to design and implement software components for 5G RF Conformance testing, ensuring precision and reliability
  • Framework Migration: Assist in prototyping and porting of existing tools from a C#-based framework to a modern, scalable, Python-based framework
  • Greenfield Development: Engage in deveoping new features and modules from scratch to support RF test and measurement requirements
  • Tooling & Optimization: Analyse current workflows to identify bottlenecks and develop tooling improvements to increase automation efficiency
  • CI/CD Integration: Collaborate with the DevOps team to integrate your software developments into GitLab-CI pipelines, ensuring seamless automated testing on Rohde & Schwarz hardware
  • Agentic AI Usage: Work with and on LLM toolchains to improve development efficiency

Qualifications

  • Academic Background: Ongoing studies in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering, or a related technical field
  • Programming Skills: Strong foundations in Python and a good understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP). Experience with C#/.NET is a significant advantage for the migration process
  • Version Control: Practical experience with Git and a basic understanding of CI/CD concepts (e.g., GitLab-CI)
  • RF Knowledge: A basic understanding of RF is a plus but not required
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving, a passion for "clean code," and the ability to work independently within a collaborative, international environment
  • Language: Good command of written and spoken English
