Tasks

• Lead the design, development, maintenance, and improvement of application features, modules, and shared components.
• Refactor and modernize existing code to improve maintainability, reliability, performance, testability, and separation of concerns.
• Contribute to architecture improvements, reusable components, clearer service boundaries, and better integration readiness.
• Improve how application data, workflows, and business logic are structured so they can support future automation and intelligent assistance.
• Review requirements, identify technical impacts, clarify gaps, and propose practical technical solutions.
• Troubleshoot complex defects, performance issues, data issues, integration issues, and build/pipeline failures.
• Review code, promote clean code, design patterns, unit testing, and engineering best practices.
• Collaborate with test team to improve testability, regression coverage, and automated validation.
• Mentor developers, share technical knowledge, and support continuous improvement of development practices.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of professional software development experience using .NET / C#, 12+ years for Lead-level candidates
• Experience developing or maintaining WPF desktop applications with good understanding of WPF application structure, MVVM concepts, design patterns, clean code, maintainability, and unit testing.
•  Good SQL knowledge, including queries, joins, stored procedures, data validation, and performance awareness.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Visual Studio, including debugging, refactoring, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Strong understanding of software design principles, clean code, maintainability, and unit testing.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across application, data, performance, and integration issues
• Experience with GitLab/Git workflows, including branching, merge requests, and code reviews.
• Practical experience using AI-assisted development tools for coding, refactoring, documentation, troubleshooting, or test generation.
• Good communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to share knowledge, provide technical guidance, and support team development.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Nice to have: 
• Experience supporting or contributing to the modernization of applications from .NET Framework to modern .NET platforms.
• Experience designing or consuming APIs, service interfaces, or modular application components.
• Experience improving legacy codebases through refactoring, testability improvements, and architectural cleanup.
• Basic knowledge of DevOps practices, build pipelines, deployment processes, or environment troubleshooting.
